Avatar!!!!!!

Okay, a few hours ago me and my brother went to the movies to see Avatar in 3-D and it was amazing. The graphics and visuals were just spectacular, and the story although a little unorignial kept me on the edge of my toes (actually the edge of my feet I mean) the whole time!It was all so beautiful to look at. When it first came out I always wondered "What's the big deal about this movie, and why is it making so much money?" Now I see why people were raving about it so much. And I'm glad I went to go see in it 3D since it really enchanced the movie.

My Latest Obsession

I was searching around Youtube and I found this cute electro-pop Japanese girl group called Perfume, Their music just makes me feel so happy and upbeat! This song of theirs is called "One Room Disco".

I don't usally watch reality TV that much because it seems so trashy, but I was surfing through the tv channels and saw this last part on a show called "Hells Kitchen".I really think this one contestant named Joseph has a huge anger problem.Now I can't wait for the next episode and hopes he doesn't beat anyone up. All he had to do was answer a simple question, and he couldn't even do that. I can tell this season is going to be full of drama!

Here's this really cool thing you can do to see which words feature the most in your music collection (larger size means more times present):

INSTRUCTIONS:
01 - In your iTunes/iPod library, make sure you only have the TITLE, ARTIST & ALBUM columns up, and then press CTRL + A, then CTRL+C to copy all the words. After you have done that, unhighlight everything.

02 - Go to http://www.wordle.net and click on 'Create'. Press CTRL + V in the box and press go.

03 - Change the preferences to your Wordle using the toolbar

04 - Press PRINT SCREEN on yuor keyboard and paste the picture into Photoshop/Photo Editing Software/ even Microsoft PowerPoint!!!

05 - Crop the photo so only the wordle remains, and then save the picture :
(Photoshop/Photo Editing Software - click on "Save for Web & Devices"; make sure you're saving it as .jpeg/.gif/.png.
PowerPoint - right click on photo and click on "Save Picture", and make sure its being saved as .jpeg/.gif/.png.)

06 - Upload photo to internet using Photobucket / Tinypic.com / ImageShack etc etc. & post link/photo here

I just got back from the movie theaters, and as you can tell from the title I just finished watching Up by Disney! At first I though everyone was going to that it with me, but since my cousins were visiting and wanted to see Ice Age 3, they saw that with my siblings instead. So I had to watch this movie all by myself with soda and popcorn in 3-D.There were almost no people inside. It was a very nice movie and even had a few funny parts as well. I highly recommend that you see it. The theme of the whole story was just lovely. At the end there was a bin to recycle 3-D glasses, but because I'm a rebel I took them home! ;-)

P.S. I saw a poster for a live version of Alice in wonderland and I'm intrigued.

Very Creative

I found this video on youtube. It's from a Japanese band named Sour and everyone in the video consist of the band's fanbase from all over the world on webcames. I found it really intresting and creative from a video these days.

Hilay And Jackie

A few days ago I saw this wonderful movie on indieplex called "Hilary and Jackie. I thought the whole movie was so beautiful, it was about two sisters, named Hilary and Jackie who were both musicians (Hilary played the flute and Jackie played the cello). Jackie was the more loved sister and became more famous than her sister but eventually became deadly ill and slowly wasted away. The movie showed each sisters perspective in the time frame and made me cry a lot in some moments, I think everyone should see because its based on a true story of Hilary and Jacqueline du pre and so touching.

Have any of you heard of this singer? I discovered her a few days ago and think shes simply divine. Her music just puts you into a dreamy carefree trance. My favorite songs of hers are "Daniel" and "What's a girl to do?".

What is this?

If you live in the United States of America, and have watched NBC for the past couple of weeks, you would know by now that they are trying to push a new show called "the listener. I really dislike this show so much. And do you want to knwo why? It's beacuse the main character abd premise of the show is based off the character of Matt Parkman of Heroes, which is strangley also on NBC! I mean, there are so many diffrent ideas that you could have for a new show, and this is all they could come up with? Where's the orginallity? I'm so tired of having remakes of movies and rip-off, people have brains, use them! I thought NBC would be smarter than this, and whats worse, he has a similar job and looks to the mind reader on Heroes. I for one will not be supporting this and I hope it get cancelled.

The Search is over!

After days of thinking, wondering if I would ever see it again, I finally found the wonderful movie that I had seem on TCM in amazon for sale! The name of the movie is "Au Revoir Les Enfants", and the setting is around the world war 2 period in France. It tells the tale of a french boy whose mother enrolls him in a all boys boarding school. He is very lonely there until he meets another boy named Julian. At first he just teases him, but soon towards the middle-end of the movie they become friends.But he does not know Julian's biggest secret, he's a Jew!. The whole movie is really touch and sad, especially when Julian's secret is revealed. I highly recommend it.Its only twenty dollars, so maybe I should ask my parents to get it for my 17th birthday...

Too much of a good thing

Star trek is a good movie. And Imax is a great exciting way to watch movies.
So it would make sense that two good things would fit together, right?.
But when me and my mom went to the Imax theater at the Franklin, it was too overwhelming. It felt like I was being squished and the screen seamed stretched.
Some movies are just not made for this type of thing.

Yesterday was mothers day and to make herself content, my mom cleaned up the house and relaxed all day. She was also super excited when my dad gave her a mini laptop as a present, she had no idea (but we did). Since nobody wanted to go to the movies with my mom to see the Soloist with Jamie Foxx (Too dramatic for them). I decided to go. Before the movie we went to wawa to get candy for the film (I got twix naked juice, water, and some other candy). A great thing that happened was when Mom dropped money at the ATM machine, and a nice man who drove a motorcycle took it up to the cashier to show that someone lost their money (he could have easily taken it).
At the box office, my youthful looks gave me a advantage as the movie worker charged me only for a children's ticket. The movie in my opinion was better than I thought, but it was still no slumgdog millionaire.







A few days ago my Aaron my little brother made some apple turnovers, and they were delicious!



And sometime after that, Shannon iced Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls all by herself!

Lilly Allen

I really don't care for Lilly Allen that much but I was on Myspace and heard her album on her page.
I thought it sounded realy good and I just might have to buy it when it comes out in a few days.
