They're Here

Today we picked up our cousins Jax and Jiniah from the rest stop (their Grandma and Mom were with them), and I am preparing for a week of headaches since with them Shannon is so hyper and loud. Also I have to type quick beacuse we are going to the carnival in a few minutes to watch fire works, its going to be so Much fun. Aaron also made baked Dounuts that didn't taste like Doughnuts, but they were okay.

Dinner

I'm sorry that I couldn't take a picture, its because my computer memory is almost full. But today was nice and while I was still tired (I stayed up too late), mom made us go to Church since that is a good way to stay sane. The sermon was okay, I think I would liked it better If I wasn't tired. And the minister was very passionate about the lord and yelled a lot (This was a Baptist Church). After the Church we went home and I just crashed on the bed and talked to mom for a while. I have so much to do now until the end of the week that its not even funny. We also gave dad his father's day's gifts (Sorry dad, we'll treat you better on your birthday) .And on the Wii fit it said that I now weigh 113 pounds (right...) So tonight I will make sure that I'm in bed early so enough energy comes to me in the morning.

Strange...

When saw this at the gorcery store I thought it was really strange. I mean fried ice cream ice ceram ? But then I thought "maybe this could be really good" So I eventually convinced my mom to buy it and I'm glad that I did since it tasted really delicious and much better than I thought it would be. So a few days later I almost cried when I found out the box was empty, and what's worse, mom said we couldn't get it the next time we went to the store. :-(

Thoughts on McCafé.......

Last week when my family and I were running errands, we decided to go to McDonald's for lunch in the drive-tru. Also, I wanted to buy a iced latte McCafe drink because I had seen it in commercials alot and was impressed by the McCafé store I had seen in Washington D.C. When the latte finally came to me and I got a chance to take a small delicious sip, it was slightly disappointing. McDonald's really needs to present more options in their coffee if they want to be considered a serious competitor to Starbucks. But I'm guessing that they eventually want to expand this McCafé menu eventually and are just testing the waters. And unlike the Washington store, the coffee was just okay tasting. I don't know, I'm not sure if I would order a McCafé again. But hopefully they improve because it sounds like a solid idea.

Yesterday was mothers day and to make herself content, my mom cleaned up the house and relaxed all day. She was also super excited when my dad gave her a mini laptop as a present, she had no idea (but we did). Since nobody wanted to go to the movies with my mom to see the Soloist with Jamie Foxx (Too dramatic for them). I decided to go. Before the movie we went to wawa to get candy for the film (I got twix naked juice, water, and some other candy). A great thing that happened was when Mom dropped money at the ATM machine, and a nice man who drove a motorcycle took it up to the cashier to show that someone lost their money (he could have easily taken it).
At the box office, my youthful looks gave me a advantage as the movie worker charged me only for a children's ticket. The movie in my opinion was better than I thought, but it was still no slumgdog millionaire.







A few days ago my Aaron my little brother made some apple turnovers, and they were delicious!



And sometime after that, Shannon iced Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls all by herself!

Yum!

Have you ever tried steak with teriyaki sauce? it taste amazing.
All you have to do is pour some terriyaki sauce on leftover steak and microwave it for one minute and enjoy.

Raw Honey

 

This is interesting, my mom bought us raw honey from the grocery store.
I never new that honey looked like this in its purest natrual state.
I guess it shows how much foods can get processed in the factory stage.
