Foki!

One of my favorite bloggers is a 18 year old Swedish girl who runs a blog called "Foki". Her name's really Anchisa and she used to live in Thailand until she moved to Sweden at the age of 10-11. Her blog is so unique because she posts all these interesting posts about Japanese culture and interesting artwork. I wish there were more bloggers like her. The only thing that bothers me about her is that since she was fifteen she had been living with her boyfriend who is about 6-7 years older than her! (They started dating when she was fourteen) I don't understand how her parents would accept this at all. If I wanted to move in with an older man such a young age, my parents would disown me. How can she be so buddy-buddy with her parents after this happened? And she says next year she and her boyfriend are going to move to Thailand (I wonder how that's going to work out).Maybe it's just a Swedish thing.

Four weeks to go!

Can you believe it! less than a month to go until me and my brother go to Scotland for ten whole days! I can hardly retain my excitement! I'm always counting down the days until the moment arrives! The only part That I'm a bit nervous about is the plane ride (I'm terrified of heights and flying). But besides that I think I'll be fine. I can't wait to try haggis! :-)

Me and My Dreams

Last night I had such a strange dream! Me and my whole family were traveling across a bridge and all of a sudden these police officers near the end told us to get out of the car which we did, and minutes later they pushed it into the water! This happened for everyone on the bridge and we had to get a bus to take us to our destination. Isn't that strange?

Cooking!

I usually don't like cooking beaucse I'm not that good at it, but a while ago I gave myself the challange of making something fresh for breakfast, and I think I really nailed it. I made a spinich fritata, and it was amazing! Maybe i'm just a little bit too hard on myself when it comes cooking. I really need to gain some confidence and find things that I would really love to make (like chocolate chip cookies). I can't be so down in the dumps if I want to go to college next year. I need to get some backbone!

P.s. Sorry for not updating as much, i'm so lazy. :-(

Pictures...

Since my annoying brother wants me to get off the computer soon, i'll just post some of my latest pictures really quickly:

I went to a women's basketball game with my dad the other day, it was Vilanova vs. Uconn, and the latter won. i was so fun spending time with my dad even though the home team lost. I hope we can do this again some other time as well.

Me, my little brother, and my Mom visited Chipotle Mexican Grill after hearing about it on Oprah. The food was just delicious and everything was so fresh too. I will defianitly be coming back there another day.

Also, yesterday me and Aaron went to one of our handbell instructor's (Holly's) birthday. It took forever to get to their house, it was like driving around a maze, so confusing. I was relieved once we got there, and I had a lot of fun playing games like apples to apples and four men on a couch. It made me so excited to for Scotland next month!

Bad Horse!

Today I was volunteering at Ivy Hill by helping lead a lesson and the horse I was with kept misbehaving. For the whole time he would try to bit at me,run when he was suppose to be just walking and walk in the opposite direction from where i was going. He got on my nerves a lot! I thought maybe he had an issue with me, but the workers say he acts like that to everyone. Eventually I got to help with another lesson and that made me so relieved! Side note: My foot got step on by a horse with shoes, not a very fun experience.

Blonde hair!!!

A few days ago my brother did what I thought was the unthinkable, he dyed his hair blond! He said it was for a certain swim meet called Wilson's meet the whole team was participating in that he and he didn't want to stand out beacuse all the other guys on his team were doing it. I understand what he means about fitting in but the hair looks so awful, it doesn't match his skin tone at all, and looks too harsh. I really hope he changes it back soon (but he said they're all going to dye their hair blue next!) But I guess this is all about him having a normal public school experience and later in his life he'll look back at this moment and laugh. Even before I tried to talk him out of it, but he insisted. I just hope the dye is easy to get.

Avatar!!!!!!

Okay, a few hours ago me and my brother went to the movies to see Avatar in 3-D and it was amazing. The graphics and visuals were just spectacular, and the story although a little unorignial kept me on the edge of my toes (actually the edge of my feet I mean) the whole time!It was all so beautiful to look at. When it first came out I always wondered "What's the big deal about this movie, and why is it making so much money?" Now I see why people were raving about it so much. And I'm glad I went to go see in it 3D since it really enchanced the movie.

New Pictures

(The horse stable where I work)

Today I figured that should start posting pictures again since my post seems kind of dull without them, and I don't have to worry about not having a camera anymore.

"Chemistry school work, it's hard but sometimes fastinating".

One of the videos I was watching about chemical and physical reactions, I would not want to touch that!

Toastmasters

I'm so nervous for tomorrow, my mom signed me up for a public speaking class that's called toastmasters. I was there last week and had to make a speech about some one that I had just talked too and I was so nervous and stiff. It was terrible! But I guess that's what the class is about, to make me get out of my shell so I can present myself in a better way without being too shy. And plus I guess it will be to my advantage went I apply for college or a job in the near future. I was nervous during the first minute, but once I realized that other people were just as nervous as I was and that their parents made them sign up as well, I calmed down internally.hopefully this class makes a huge difference in my life!
